The LLEAD-Lansing Chapter is one of 2 inaugural chapters.  It has been actively involved in supporting issues in communities like Dewitt’s bias incidents at the middle schools, advocating for justice in the Lansing area in hate crimes against immigrant residents, supporting the passage of a Sanctuary City status in Lansing, the passage of Cesar E. Chavez Avenue in Lansing, and the LLEAD Crisis Response System (CRS) Follow-up Training. LLEAD Lansing collaborates with other social justice and labor organizations in the area.

LLEAD-Lansing Chapter meetings are held on the fourth Monday of the month at the Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 201 W. Miller Rd. Lansing 48911.  Contact Guillermo Z Lopez or visit LLEAD-Lansing on Facebook.
