About this chapter
Established October 20, 2022, LLEAD’s fifth chapter focuses on legal, prison, and judicial policy reform for the Latino community across Detroit and Southeast Michigan, including reevaluating cash bail policies, advocating for diverse jury representation, ending life sentences for crimes committed by juveniles, and improving affordable phone access for incarcerated loved ones and their families.
